Common Questions About Engagement Model
Yes. Roughly 30% of Gsource engagements evolve from one model to another - most commonly Project-Based clients moving to Retainer or POD as their volume grows, or Retainer clients consolidating to a POD when their workload stabilises. We restructure the commercial agreement at the model-change point, with a 30-day transition window.
Project-Based has no minimum beyond the project scope itself. Retainer / FTE typically starts at 80 hours/month with a 3-month initial commitment. POD has a 3-month minimum FTE commitment. Hybrid Model commitments are negotiated per engagement based on POD base size.
After kickoff, the POD typically begins production within 5 business days. The first 1–2 weeks include onboarding to your CAD standards, BIM Execution Plan, and QA protocols. Full ramp to target velocity is typically 2–3 weeks.
For POD and Hybrid models, we can scale down with 30 days' notice. Retainer hours roll over to the next month if unused (up to 1 month). Project-Based engagements are fixed-scope so volume changes don't apply.
Yes for Retainer / FTE and Hybrid Model - both are discipline-flexible and your hours or POD capacity can span civil, structural, BIM, MEPF, survey, and architectural work. POD is typically structured around a primary discipline with supplementary disciplines added as separate FTEs. Project-Based engagements are quoted per discipline scope.
No. All work across all engagement models is performed by Gsource employees at our delivery centres in Hollywood, Florida and Dubai, UAE. We do not subcontract production work to third parties.
